This is my column graph.  It is about fruit.  I had to ask everyone what fruit they would like to take to a picnic. They had to pick out of Oranges (Orange column), Apple (Red column), Banana (Blue column), Grapes (Green column) and Watermelon (Purple column).

Allegro Learns how to Play Minecraft

My Reflection:

This is a Allegro story that   did together with Oliver.  We taught Allegro how to play Minecraft.  Allegro thought it was fun and it was a fun book too.  

The Musical Cockroach

My Reflection:
This is a fun story that everyone in R13 took part in.  The story is about a adventurous cockroach that loved music and would do ANYTHING to hear music.  So he left his family, Traveled to EPS and and herd music from R13 and lived inside the classroom happily.

Reader's Theatre The Forgotten Hero

My Reader's Theatre book for T2 is called the The Forgotten hero.   I like it.  It is about a person that saves thousands of jewish refugees from the japanese.  It is based on a true story.

Walking School Bus Milo and Muffins Day

Today was milo and muffins day at school.  At milo and muffins day you get a milo and half a muffin.  There is also a draw as well.  When you fill up a WSB ticket you put it into a draw.  Then,  at the end of the term some tickets are  taken out.  The people who got there ticket taken out get a prize.

My Reflection:  This is my best birthday present ever maths problem.  I think it was not very difficult.  I like this problem.

Fractions: The Pizza Problem

My Reflection:   This is the Pizza Problem I did a while ago. We needed to find a way to share 2 pizzas between 3 people. Mostly everyone [Including me] did it by making them get 2 thirds. But then I found out they could have 4 sixths each too!

My Reflection: 
In this I am learning to use the LEARNZ Harbours and Estuaries field trip.  Sill is the word I need to find the meaning of is sill but I actually found that out today-A sill is kind of a barrier of rocks and things. I am enjoying this LEARNZ field trip so far...

I am learning to  use the Equal Additions Strategy. I made this video on Show  Me. I think this strategy is not that hard. I had fun doing this.  My next step is to work with three digit numbers.

I am proud of this character sketch about my dad. At first, I couldn't think of things to type but I managed to figure it out. My favourite part is I put it in to 2 paragraphs.

Te Kouka Maths Problem

My Reflection:
I liked doing the Te Kouka problem.  I thought it was a bit tricky at first, but I finally worked it out.  Anyway, I do like challenges.

Principal's Award

I am happy to get this Proactive Social Behaviour Award at the Principal's Award Assembly today.

I like this poem because it reminds me of my great grandad that lives in the south island. It was tricky to think of answers for the the questions but other than than that it was easy.

Walking school Bus [WSB]

My Reflection:

I am very happy to be a walking school bus supervisor.  I need to do training.  I think being a walking school bus supervisor is hard.

Learning to be a Leader

My Reflection:  

I am proud to be a leader.  I have done this because one week I was chosen to be the leader in the classroom.  I was chosen for listening well.  I was responsible for taking the role to the office and being a good role-model for my peers.

Learning to solve maths word problems

Reflection on my maths problem solving learning:
I used 2 strategies  to solve this problem: multiplication and addition.

I learned to draw pictures to understand what was happening in the problem. I also learned that using a grid is good to work out problems like this because it is easy to understand. I filled in the grid in my evidence all by myself.

Next, I would like to practice using grids more.

Learning to write a recount as a Poem

My reflection:

I think I wrote a good Did You Ever...? poem because I followed the formula.  It is about going mountain biking.  I found it tricky to think of ideas but in the end I managed to do it.  I put nouns and verbs in it. I'm proud of my d Did You Ever...? poem.

My name is Cameron. I go to Elm Park School and I am in 

Year 4.  I have an e-portfolio because I want to share my learning.

My interests are sports, walking, bike riding, Mathletics,
